Interactive takes your privacy seriously, is committed to protecting your data and takes every reasonable precaution to safeguard the personal data you supply to it when you become a subscriber to Interactivechallenge by registering and answering questions on one of our in-person surveys conducted between our field agents and respondents (“Interactivechallenge surveys”).
Interactive recognises that your privacy and the protection of your personal data is important to you. This Privacy Policy describes how Interactive uses and helps to protect your personal data.
Information and the data we collect
In the course of conducting our Interactivechallenge surveys, we collect demographic information about you (such as name, age and address) and lifestyle information about your interests and purchasing habits. We collect data about you, including answers to specific questions asked by sponsors (as hereinunder defined) of our Interactivechallenge surveys. This information, together with the contact details you provide, is used to assist Interactive and named third parties, including ScottishPower, to send you communications about their products and services.
“Personal data” means the information you provide when you register for and participate in an Interactivechallenge survey.

How we use and share your data
When you register for an Interactivechallenge survey you consent to receive marketing communications by telephone, email, SMS, post and via social media from companies about which you answer specific questions (“sponsors”), including ScottishPower, and from Interactivechallenge and other companies (“partners”) also named in the registration page of the Interactivechallenge survey. When you register, you also agree to the terms and conditions and to this Privacy Policy that govern how your personal data will be processed.
Every respondent taking part in an Interactive Challenge facetoface survey has the option to opt in to the following statement before completing their Interactivechallenge registration:

All of our sponsors and partners are named in our Interactivechallenge surveys, and explicit consent is obtained for you to receive marketing communications from them.
If you are registered with the Telephone Preference Service (“TPS”) and have specifically consented to receiving a call from a sponsor (such as ScottishPower) when participating in an Interactivechallenge survey, your consent to such a call will override the TPS. This override does not apply to other partners named in the Interactivechallenge surveys from whom you have not specifically requested a call.
The data that you provide to us is held by Interactive Ltd, and by our sponsors and partners, as Data Controllers and Data Processors.

Marketing to children
We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18, either for registration or marketing purposes.
Aggregation and profiling
Your data, and that of other subscribers to Interactivechallenge, may be aggregated at postcode or other levels for the building of statistical and analytical tables. We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.
We share personally identifiable Information with the sponsors and partners named in our Interactivechallenge surveys.
The data that we provide to named third parties, including ScottishPower, may be added to information they already hold about you, such as whether you are or have ever been a customer of theirs before. Named third parties may also conduct profiling to send you targeted communications and to determine the right types of products, services and pricing to offer you. They may also use such data better to help them understand the characteristics of people who are likely to become their customers and to find others like them across a range of marketing channels. Such use and identification by these companies is entirely outside the control and responsibility of Interactive Ltd and you should refer the privacy policies of the relevant sponsor or partner for information on how they use cookies and IP addresses.

The Internet is not a 100% secure medium for communication and accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you send to us via the Internet.
